Effective date: 20 September 2026 App: Brain Mantra: Maths and IQ Reasoning (Android, package com.brainmantra.app) Contact: brainmantrasupport@gmail.com
This policy explains what information Brain Mantra ("the app", "we") collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at brainmantrasupport@gmail.com.
1. Who this app is for
Brain Mantra is a maths and reasoning quiz game for a general audience aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
2. Information we collect
Account information
If you sign in with Google: your Google account name and email address (we ask Google only for the "email" and "profile" scopes). We never see your Google password.
If you sign up with email and password: your email address and a password. Your password is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider; we cannot read it.
A display name: chosen by you at sign-up, or taken from your Google name / email prefix if you sign in with Google.
Game information
Your current score (total marks) and the time you were last active.
Daily Challenge results: the date, the marks you scored, and the number of questions.
Your day streak and last session summary, which are stored only on your phone.
Advertising and device information (collected by Google AdMob)
Your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and operating-system details, and how you interact with ads. AdMob may use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. This is collected by Google, not by us.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or payment information.
3. How we use information
To create and secure your account and sign you in.
To run the game: save your score, resume your progress, and calculate leaderboard ranks.
To show a public leaderboard (see section 5).
To show advertising that helps keep the app free, and to measure whether ads work.
To delete inactive accounts and keep the service safe (for example, to prevent cheating).
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share information with
Supabase (database and authentication hosting): stores your account, display name, score and Daily Challenge results. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Google (Google Sign-In and Google AdMob): processes sign-in, and collects the advertising data described above. See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
We do not share your information with anyone else for their own marketing.
5. What other players can see
The leaderboard is public to other players of the app. It shows your display name and score (and your rank). Other players cannot see your email address. Choose a display name that does not reveal personal information.
6. Advertising choices
In some regions (such as the EEA and UK) the app shows a consent form before personalised ads are used. You can change your choice through your device's Google settings or by clearing the app's data to see the form again.
You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Ads are capped at a "PG" content rating.
7. How long we keep information
Account, profile and score data are kept until you delete your account.
Accounts that have been inactive for 30 days are deleted automatically, together with their data.
Data stored on your phone is removed when you delete your account in the app, or when you uninstall the app.
8. Your rights and how to delete your data
You can delete your account and all its data yourself:
Open the app and go to Home → Delete Account, then confirm. This permanently removes your account, sign-in, display name, score, streak and Daily Challenge history.
Or, if you no longer have the app, follow the instructions on our deletion page or email brainmantrasupport@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. We complete requests within 14 days.
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or California CCPA/CPRA) you may also have the right to access, correct, export or object to the processing of your information. Email brainmantrasupport@gmail.com and we will respond within the time required by law.
9. Security
All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS (TLS encryption). Access to data is restricted so that each player can only change their own information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users and authorities if a breach occurs, as required by law.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, they rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Effective date" above shows the latest version, and we will make the change visible in the app if it is significant.
